Brooke Howard-Smith

Brooke Howard-Smith is a NZ television personality, well known for his role presenting TV3’s consumer affair show Target, Celebrity Joker Poker, XSTV, as well as the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. He is currently hosting Cadbury Dream Factory for TV3.

His previous experience includes work on MTV in America and a time with sports channel ESPN. Brooke got into presenting over in the States where he competed in extreme sports, excelling in inline skating. He received a bronze medal at the 1995 X Games.

Over the last 4 years Brooke has built National fundraisers Rise Up Christchurch and TV3’s Comedy for Cure Kids raising over 6 Million dollars for their respective charities. His focus these days centres mainly on Richard Branson and Derek Handley’s B Team initiatives to re-shape our global metrics and introduce social good into businesses.

Brooke also owned and managed popular Auckland party venue The Pony Club, and lists his interests as playing poker (currently a sponsored competitor on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour and the Australia New Zealand Poker tour), action/ extreme sports and playing the guitar in his band Fierce Asian Gang. Brooke is married to actress/television presenter and former Miss New Zealand, Amber Peebles.

Brooke supports the Catwalk Trust for people recovering from spinal injuries, Hospice New Zealand and Cure Kids.
